DEXTER DIAMOND EMULSIONS.

I’ve chosen to stock a single abrasive emulsion teaming up with Jamie based over in the U.S from DEXTER emulsions specifically for one reason - absolute confidence in their products performance.

DEXTER’s synthetic mono-crystalline diamond emulsions provide outstanding cutting power, producing sharp, clean striations that hold their bite, alongside true mirror finishes.

Dexter emulsions are primarily made from diamonds that are suspended in pure distilled water. These emulsions spread consistantly and evenly across the strop, penetrating the leathers fibers evenly thanks to these emulsions ultra-low surface tension - leaving the leather feeling natural, almost bare rather than clogged and stiff,  all while delivering exceptional results.

Being perfectly compatible with SSC. strops skin or flesh side, they work in combination to deliver outstanding, refined performance.

Coming in a convenient 30mL spray bottle for versatile and spearing application.
They are available in range of partical sizes, from 7 micron - 0.10 micron, giving you an option for every scenario.

DEXTER EMULSION APPLICATION TIPS

**shake well before use**

Supplied in a 30ml spray bottle - best for versatile application methods - these emulsions are designed to be used sparingly. Apply in a well-lit area to minimise overspray and maximise coverage.

To charge, hold the bottle approximately 10–15cm (4–6") from the surface and apply a light, even coat, shaking bottle regularly during use. Work quickly, as the emulsion begins drying immediately and fully sets within minutes.

Do not rely solely on wet discolouration to judge coverage - lighter areas may still contain effective overspray. Aim for consistent surface discolouration by maintaining an even spraying distance and uniform application throughout.

If excess overlapping occurs, promptly redistribute the emulsion with your fingertip to ensure an even coat and cover any missed areas.

Re-apply as needed to restore like-new cutting performance, particularly after cleaning with a strop eraser that comes highly recommend for strop upkeep and longevity. Once fully renewed and emulsion is dry, your good to go!

*SSC. recommends that after first charge and your strop inevitably becomes contaminated with swarf and no longer preforming as expected I highly recommend cleaning your strop with a strop eraser to remove any built-up debris or swarf prior to any re-application.*
