DEXTER’s synthetic mono-crystalline diamond emulsions provide outstanding cutting power, producing sharp striations qith bite, alongside true mirror finishes. Suspended in pure distilled water, they spread evenly and cleanly across the strop and penetrate evenly thanks to their ultra-low surface tension - leaving the leather feeling natural rather than clogged and stiff while delivering exceptional results.
Perfectly compatible with SSC. strops, they work in combination to deliver outstanding, refined performance.
They’re available in range of partical sizes, from 7 micron right down to 0.1 micron.

DEXTER EMULSION APPLICATION TIPS

Supplied in a spray bottle for versatile application, these emulsions perform best when used sparingly. Apply in a well-lit area to minimise overspray.
Hold the bottle 10–15 cm (4–6") from the surface and apply a light, even coat, shaking the bottle every few pumps.
Work quickly, as drying begins immediately. The emulsion sets in about five minutes. For consistent colour, lightly touch up pale areas from 7–8 cm (3") away. Allow each coat to dry before adding more.
If excess emulsion or overlap occurs, promptly redistribute it with a fingertip to cover any bare sections.
Reapply as needed to fully refresh the cutting performance. Once dry, resume stropping.
