CUSTOM STROP DETAILS AND ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS.
Southern Strop Co. gives you option to design your own, bespoke, customised strop build, based around the same premium matiarials - thin cut, naturally finished Kangaroo leather and precision CnC cut, gloss-black polycarbonate. Identical to that used in all SSC. strops.
This package allows you to customise key aspects, tailoring crucial specifications including:
Mounting orientation of the leather - selecting either flesh or skin side facing upward - as well as your precise dimensions and base thickness.*
This service is provided via a no-obligation quote.
*Non-adjustable specifications*
• Polycarbonate colour: Gloss black only.
• Polycarbonate base thickness: 10mm (0.4") or 20mm (0.8") thick only.
How to Order.
• Place an order for your custom strop through this page.
• Send a Email message using the “Email and Message” section at the bottom of this page.
Your message must include:
• Mounting preference of the leather.
• Your chosen strop dimensions (metric measurements only).
• Your selected base thickness (10mm-0.4" or 20mm-0.8").
• Your full postal address (no abbreviations).
• Also, if required any additional details relevant to your order.
Quote Process.
• Once I receive your order and all required details, I will prepare your quote.
• Quotes are usually completed within 2–4 business days.
• You will receive the final total cost (including shipping) via the email address youprovided.
• Please note: you will not receive a full itemised breakdown - only the final strop and shipping costs are itemised and will be GST tax inclusive.
* If you would like the final, total weight of your strop, please note this can only be confirmed once the build is complete and ready to ship.
Payment & Build Time.
If you are agreeable with given cost(s) and approximate time frame:
• A full, upfront, non-refundable payment is required before any works begin.
• Lead times are approximately 2–3 weeks from receipt of full payment.
• Once complete, your strop will be express shipped with tracking requiring a mandatory signature on delivery.
⚠ All quoted costs including shipping will be priced and are to be paid in AUD.
** Important Notes**
• The minimum order spend free shipping policy does not apply to custom items.
• P.O. boxes and Parcel Post Lockers are not accepted delivery addresses.
• Standard warranty terms and conditions do not apply to custom orders. Any perceived faults in matiarials and or workmanship will be assessed at SSC's discretion.
